Peninsula Park Commons

Completed in 2007, this project created 9 new units for the Peninsula Park co-housing community in North Portland. Developed by Orange Splot LLC and designed by Communitecture, the construction of the new housing was managed by Born and Raised Construction co-owner, Simon Lyle. This project brought together many elements of environmentally conscious and community-oriented design including passive solar hot water, efficient appliances, green insulation, re-purposed wood and windows, bicycle parking, guest accommodations and shared gathering spaces.
