Pollination Station & University Row Townhomes
In partnership with the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF), Proud Ground and Orange Splot LLC, Born and Raised Construction built University Row and Pollination Station -12 all electric, high performance, zero energy Townhomes. Future-proofed and resilient, these townhomes are Portland’s first net zero, permanently affordable housing funded by PCEF and also the first 6-plexes to be built using Portland's residential infill project.

Collaboration in Action
At Born and Raised Construction, we believe that meaningful, innovative work happens through strong collaboration. That’s why we’re proud to have been part of building University Row and Pollination Station—alongside PCEF, Proud Ground, and Orange Splot—that brought affordability, sustainability, and community to the forefront.

This build was a true example of what’s possible when values align. We loved teaming up with trusted subcontractors we’ve worked with for years and developing new relationships that expanded our network and perspective. We worked closely with Proud Ground and PCEF to develop and implement the data tracking and reporting system that is so essential to understanding the community impact of this unique fund dedicated to making Portland more climate resilient.

It’s not every day you get to help bring a bold vision to life—but with the right partners, it becomes not only possible, but powerful. We are so grateful to have been part of this project!
